Project Oversight

Northwest hydroelectric HAZMAT project.

ICNW will help keep your projects in motion while maintaining the safety and health of your employees and facilities, through project oversight, exposure assessments, and job-site walk-downs to ensure compliance with local, state, and government standards and regulations

Exposure Assessment - Work process, Employee, Environment

Workers performing cement asbestos board abatement.

Exposure assessments are critical to maintaining safety and health in the workplace, and the work we perform impacts our environment. If employees are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), a job hazard assessment for PPE must be performed to analyze the potential hazards, and to assess the level of PPE needed to protect your workforce, and stay within the regulations. Common hazards employees can be exposed to include asbestos and lead during renovation or demolition projects, hexavalent chromium during welding, and silica.

ICNW employees are experienced in serving utilities with industrial hygiene and safety specialist oversight during plant maintenance outages. We can provide this essential project oversight during these high hazard and complex operations to maintain in-house and contractor safety and health, compliance with plant procedures and safety programs, and to comply with state and government standards and regulations.

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assessments

Pre-Renovation/Pre-Demolition Hazardous Material Inspections

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assessments

IAQ testing after water intrusion event and remediation.

At ICNW we take safety and health seriously, and that goes for work and at home. If you’ve had a water intrusion event, or suspect there may be hidden moisture or fungal growth at your home or workplace, we can perform surface and/or air testing to determine if there is an elevated fungal concern at your facility, office, or home.  Additional IAQ services include testing for radon and carbon monoxide concentrations.

At ICNW we have an experienced AHERA inspector on staff to perform HAZMAT building inspections.

Planning on performing renovations and/or demolition of a structure? A Good Faith inspection and survey may be required, especially if work will be performed in Benton County.
